My first blog post

I wasn't quite sure if anyone would care about the things I wanted to blog about, so I never started blogging.  Now I realize that doesn't matter.  It's for me and the people who want to read me.  And if no one wants to, that's okay.  

Today is my sister's birthday.  I love her so much and she is such a great person, I can't really find the words to explain it.  I never forget how I am so lucky to have her in my life. Here's to 35 and making it wonderful.  

Today is also someone else's birthday.  Someone who may or may not be thinking of me today.  Most likely not given the year+ of silence.  Hoping that I stop remembering her and not sure if it's possible.
